The Smokey DeVille Key Lime Martini

I love key lime pie. And, I love martinis, so when you put key lime pie and martinis together, I just...I could just weep. Martiniosity is admittedly new to me, but on the upside, I am not a tini purist. In fact, I say fuck purism, to be honest. I just know what I like. So, here is my recipe for my favorite Key Lime Martini.

2oz Sobieski (that's right) Vanilla Vodka
1/2 oz Rose's Lime Juice
1 splash (English splash, not metric) Nellie and Joe's Key West Lime Juice (for tartness)
1 splash (see above) 100% Pineapple juice

Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker, add crushed ice, and shake for 5 seconds. Strain into a Martini glass, and garnish with a slice of lime. Then...think of me.

Notes: Now, anyone who has enjoyed my cooking will attest to the fact that I really don't measure anything, I eyeball. So, that said, consider all measurements to taste. I play with the amounts here and there, but I have used measurements here for reference purposes only.

Again, I am not a tini purist, however I am a bit of a health nut, so I prefer 100% pure pineapple juice with no high fructose corn syrup, no added sugar, and not in a can. Fuck that Dole nonsense. I live in a neighborhood in Chicago where I can pick up a lot of foreign foods, and I get 100% Cok Ahahac from Bulgaria, which is apparently Bulgarian for 100% pure pineapple juice, and it is sold in a paper container. No tin taste, which is important.
