The exploitation of child laborers for profit. We as Westerners often take the products manufactured by children for companies such as Nike, Mattel, Wal-Mart, Puma, Ralph Lauren, and many, many others for granted, while denying that sweatshops even exist. Unfortunately, America no longer manufactures goods, simply importing them, making sweatshops and child labor a thriving industry.
