How could I capture the beauty I see when I gaze upon her? A smile that melts my heart, eyes that touch my very soul. How do I set oil to canvas and share with the world everything I find alluring about my dear friend and companion?

I worked on this portrait for nine months or so, and was one of my greatest challenges as an artist. I learned more about style and technique from this painting than any other I had completed.
