The Music of Smokey DeVille
Smokey DeVille first emerged into the public eye with a fire breathing and glass torture act in the Fall of 2002. Using that to get his name out, he began work on his debut EP, Precursor, in the fall of 2004. After numerous setbacks, the four song EP was finally released on the internet one year later, with a compact disk version of the album shortly thereafter, which was sent to fans all over the US, Canada, South America, and Europe.
In April 2006, a second 4 song EP was released to offer fans a taste of DeVille's upcoming full length release. This EP, entitled Taste of Meat, This recording was offered through websites such as MySpace, Garageband.com, and Reverbnation.com, as well as the Stabracadabra Productions website. Despite minimal public exposure, hundreds of requests came in from three continents. In June of that same year, Smokey DeVille appeared on the Radio Free Satan 6th Anniversary Compilation cd.
In September of 2007, Smokey DeVille released his debut full-length cd entitled Meat: The Resignation of the Doomed on the Stabracadabra label The album features 10 tracks, original cover art by artist G. Edwin Taylor, and original artwork by DeVille himself. There are an undisclosed number of cds signed by both DeVille and Taylor available .
